End-of-Life Options and Medical Aid-in-Dying Presentation Chicago, IL
Rogers Park Public Library

You're invited! Join Compassion & Choices Midwest Regional Campaign Manager Amy Sherman and volunteer Jana Edge for a free training workshop on Saturday, February 16! Amy and Jana will teach you how to engage with your communities in Illinois and across the country about end-of-life care options including medical aid in dying.

At the workshop, you will learn about:

  • the continuum of end of life care including palliative care, hospice and aid in dying.
  • the policy landscape and the goal of enacting legislation to authorize medical aid in dying in Illinois, similar to the Oregon model.
  • how to present on these topics in your community, including common questions and suggested answers.

You will leave the workshop ready to spread the word and inspire others to volunteer and take action on behalf of those at the end of life.
